Nathan Bauman

Nathaniel Robert Bauman (born June 22, 1987 in Petoskey, Michigan) is an American born entertainment consultant and drummer. Currently, he is the drummer for Royale and a monthly contributor for the music publication Modern Drummer. Aside from drumming, he is also known for his development of various start-ups, brands, venues, musicians, and athletes.
== Early career ==
Bauman grew up in Kalamazoo, Michigan and after attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College, moved to Chicago, where he would pursue music. Soon after moving, he became friendly with celebrity nightlife operator Billy Dec, and would eventually become a manager at his nightclub. Using the relationships he had created with high-profile guests, Bauman used his position to parlay a number of musical performance opportunities. After parting ways with Billy, Nathan would go on to perform a slew of dates with various musicians, such as The Cool Kids,〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=https://vimeo.com/23932399 )〕 DJ Million $ Mano (Kanye West/Jay-Z/Travie McCoy/M.I.A.), DJ White Shadow (Lady Gaga's ''Born This Way'' producer), Matthew Santos, and Midnight Conspiracy.
After months of performing and serving as a nightlife consultant, Bauman accepted a position that would make him a small partner in a high end sports bar & lounge in downtown Chicago. He would go on to meet and form relationships with many professionals and organizations in the entertainment industry, including the NFL and NBA. In October 2010, Bauman was featured in the ''Chicago Tribune'' and Metromix as one of the top three to know in Chicago, after appearing in the ''Tribune'' and ''Sun-Times'' on numerous occasions with various celebrities. In January 2011, Bauman's venue was ranked 2nd on Chicago Tribune's "Top Ten Celebrity Hangouts."
